Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum
Located outside the city in a traditional style fort at Al Samriya Farm, Established in 1998, The Faisal bin Qassim Museum is home to over 15,000 items. All of the artifacts in the museum were collected by Sheikh Faisal over a span of 50 years. The artifacts are grouped into four main categories: Islamic art, vehicles, coins and currency, and traditional Qatari artifacts. Objects of each category are housed in separate rooms with distinct themes. The museum also houses a magnificent collection of vintage cars, making it a must-see attraction for motorheads. The building is itself a work of art, built of local stone with traditional turrets, and will impress anyone who appreciates architecture.
